The Skylotec ActSafe ACX is a battery-powered ascender for transporting personnel or equipment to difficult-to-access work areas. Suitable for professional rope-access, façade maintenance, industrial access and rescue applications, it provides controlled powered movement to reduce the physical effort of rope ascent.

Supplied with two rechargeable batteries, a charger and remote control, the kit supports continued operation while a spare battery is charging.

Rope and operator requirements

Rope is not included. The hirer must supply rope approved by Skylotec for the ACX and the intended application, and verify its suitability, condition and preparation before use. Rope diameter alone does not establish compatibility.

Operators should have successfully completed approved Skylotec ActSafe training appropriate to the equipment and intended use. The hirer must provide suitable anchors, and appropriate rescue arrangements.

All use must comply with the operating instructions and load limits applicable to the supplied unit.

Equipment hire does not include an operator or training unless separately arranged.
